The course is designed to equip and empower individuals who wish to train as Montessori Directress/Teacher with thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Montessori Method of education for children ages 2 ½ – 6 years.
The course structure is contact hours of 400 and 420hrs of supervised teaching practice. It includes lectures, discussions, and demonstrations on Montessori Materials. Students will prepare an album for the five curriculum areas, which detail the purpose, use and presentation of each piece of material. It also includes supervised practice with materials, material making, observation and practicum.
